PRIVACY POLICY
The Next Round Beverages ("The Next Round," "we," "us") runs drinktnr.com. This page explains what information we collect when you visit, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We've kept it in plain English on purpose.
WHAT WE COLLECT
- Email address — when you join the list using the "Notify me" form.
- Name, email, and message — when you send us a note through the contact form.
- Age confirmation — when you click "I am 21," your browser remembers that choice so we don't ask again. This is stored only on your device and is never sent to us.
- Usage data — how the site is used: pages viewed, time on page, clicks and scrolling, device and browser type, screen size, approximate location (city/region, based on your IP address), and the site that sent you here. This is collected through analytics tools described below, using cookies and similar technology.
- Server logs — our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and the time of each request, which is standard for any website.
We don't ask for, and please don't send us, sensitive information such as government ID numbers, payment details, or health information.
HOW WE USE IT
- To send you launch news, where to find our drinks, and the occasional update you signed up for.
- To reply to your messages.
- To understand how people use the site so we can make it better.
- To keep the site secure and prevent spam or abuse.
- To comply with the law, including age requirements for alcohol-related content.
We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it with third parties for their own marketing.
WHO HELPS US RUN THE SITE
We rely on a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job:
- Netlify — hosts the site and receives form submissions (signups and contact messages).
- Microsoft 365 — our email, where your messages and signup notifications are delivered.
- Email marketing platform (such as Brevo or Mailchimp) — stores the mailing list and sends our newsletters. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
- Microsoft Clarity and/or Google Analytics — website analytics. These tools use cookies and may record how you interact with pages (for example, where you click and scroll). They may also use the data they collect in accordance with their own privacy policies: Microsoft, Google.
- Instagram and Facebook — the site links to, and may embed, content from our Instagram and Facebook pages. Viewing that content is subject to Meta's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — delivers the typefaces used on this site, which involves your browser requesting the font files from Google.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or as part of a business transfer (for example, if The Next Round is ever acquired).
COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGY
The site itself sets no tracking cookies. It uses your browser's local storage to remember your age confirmation. Our analytics providers set their own cookies to tell repeat visits apart and to measure how the site is used.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will still work. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and most browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting.
YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS
- Unsubscribe — click the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or just email us and we'll remove you.
- Access, correct, or delete — email us and we'll tell you what we have about you, fix it, or delete it. We'll respond within 30 days.
- Regional rights — if you live somewhere with specific privacy laws (for example California, Colorado, the EU, or the UK), you may have additional rights such as data portability or the right to object to certain processing. Email us and we'll honor them. We will never treat you differently for exercising your rights.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
We keep your email address as long as you're on the list. Contact messages are kept as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable time afterward. Analytics data is retained according to each provider's default settings. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, unless we're required to keep it by law.
SECURITY
The site is served over HTTPS, and we use reputable providers with their own security programs. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
AGE REQUIREMENT
This site is intended for adults of legal drinking age (21 or older in the United States). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If you believe someone under 21 has given us their information, email us and we'll delete it.
LINKS TO OTHER SITES
Links to Instagram or other third-party sites are provided for convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their privacy practices.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Significant changes may also be announced by email or on the site.
